APIs, real-time reporting at scale, untangling socio-technical concerns and service boundaries, and the kind of refactor that keeps paying off for years.

Lately I’ve been digging into flow engineering, Wardley maps, and architecture for flow: how the way you shape a system decides whether work moves through it or gets stuck.

What keeps catching my interest in both is the same thing: someone who’s ready for a bigger step but can’t yet see the path. A first interview abroad and the fear around it, or an architecture call they’ll live with for years. I’m still figuring out what this looks like.
